Section 10 - Reviewing Progress
Every improvement programme needs controlling, to compare actions planned and goals set with the results achieved. An in depth analysis becomes necessary whenever goals and targets deviate, and reasons for the failure need to be identified. Besides the function of a controlling feature, the review should also be used to present the improvements already achieved to key people.
Your benefits
Comparing your achievements with the improvement options identified and implemented will show you the success of your efforts. If your achievements are not satisfying you can learn which issues were critical and how to overcome obstacles in the future.
A performance report will help you to measure your success and be the basis to track your improvement over time. It might also help comparing your performance with sector averages. The report is also useful as a basis for communicating with internal and external stakeholders. You can demonstrate your efforts towards improving the performance, satisfy their information demands, and this way ensure an ongoing commitment.

This section will support you to
